Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club is an urbanisation nestled in the mountains just above San Pedro de Alcántara.
The course opened in 1991 and was designed by Spanish former professional golfer Severiano Ballesteros, who was considered one of the best golfers in the world. He used his knowledge of the sport to design and create 30 golf courses around the world.
The course itself is set among steep mountains and was designed in such a way to make the course blend with the natural surroundings and ground - therefore creating a challenging course for golfers. Due to its location, nestled up in the mountains, the course offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and the coastal towns just a few moments drive from the course.
